Vintage Plaid Kantha with Suzani Embroidery Throw

A vintage throw made from layered old sares that are then stitched together to being a new life. It's a work of art! The kantha material is super soft, joyfully colorful, each piece unique. After the kantha is created, the artisans embroider the throw with a Suzani style with flowers, vines and winding leaves. The piece is reversible and the edges are finished with a little decorative fringe. The kantha material is a classical method of up-cycling materials to keep them active and out of landfills. We love it! This piece if filled with blues, turquoise, beige, burnt orange, olive and some red.
