Q&A

Any order over 100€ shipping within Europe is free.

Orders under 100€ within Finland will ship for a flat fee of 6,50EU for local shipping (POSTI) which goes to a pick up point. Orders within Europe under 100€ it's a flat fee for international shipping of 15€. This is a to the door service.

For orders outside the EU there's a flat rate of 20€, for orders over 250€ shipping is free. We use UPS, FEDEX and local international post depending on the parcel size and weight. Packages do come to your door. Any import duties or customs requirements are the customer’s responsibility.

Parcels should arrive to you within 5 – 7 business days.

Local pick up is possible at shop which would be free- lovely to meet up!

Clicking the PURCHASE button does not mean that you are not able to change your mind. Things are returnable within the premise of “realistic shopping” which gives you a two-week window to request a return. All items received must be returned in sellable condition. We will not issue a refund for an item shipped back to us that has broken due to inefficient packaging. If there’s an issue with quality, something breaks down etc then please contact us at tracey@nestfactory.com and we can figure out the best solution.

Returns/exchanges are possible accept on sale items- those sales are final.

For a return please send us a message and we will email you a generated return label to add to the parcel which would then need to be taken to the post office drop off point. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Orders shipped outside of the EU are final and non-returnable. Please check the measurement guide to help ensure your garment options fit.

Returns can also be dropped off at our shop in Ullanlinna in Helsinki.

Keep in mind when buying “vintage” that does not mean “new”. Due to the handmade and vintage nature of these textiles, many items will vary slightly in color, texture, or size. Some will show a minimal amount of wear and tear. These marks and features are consistent with each textile’s age and use. We have purposely retained various amounts of the characteristics and patina of our vintage textile collection to celebrate their handmade and storied origins. Within product descriptions we try to be as clear as possible. If you'd like more information or images about a blanket etc before purchasing please send us an email: tracey@nestfactory.com.

We source heritage pieces from local artisans globally. Textiles are washed, checked and mended as needed before placed on sale. These are all items I would happily place in my home.

Nope I'm not Finnish...though actually I am as I got my citizenship a few years back (this language is a killer!)...but I'm actually American, married to a Finn with 22+ years of life in Finland. My social work background and love for decorating and crafts evolved into the creation of Nest Factory. I do not claim to be a designer but I do have a certain "look" which you'll find among the product listings.

It's been an amazing journey meeting so many talented people from various parts of the world. I feel very fortunate and hopeful- there's still so much beauty in this world to discover and share, as well as people who appreciate and understand the importance of handmade and the art of craftsmanship.

Fingers crossed I can find you a few inspirational pieces!
